The Morgan Hoffmann Foundation is proud to announce that this year’s event will be headlined by TWO Live Performers: country-music star Frankie Ballard and celebrity-DJ Matoma!
Singer-songwriter Frankie Ballard will be on-site to kick off the golf event on Sunday evening at Arcola Country Club. The Michigan native broke into the music scene in 2008 after winning Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star competition. He soon made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry and has opened for Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Florida Georgia Line.
Frankie’s portfolio includes three #1 singles – “Helluva Life”, “Sunshine & Whiskey” and “Young & Crazy”. He is currently on tour promoting his most recent album, El Rio. You can download or stream El Rio HERE
Matoma, also known as Tom Lagergren, started his music career as a child pianist. The Norwegian tropical house DJ / record producer soon grew tired of classical piano and began mixing music on his computer. In 2015 he released seven singles under his moniker.
Matoma will join Jackson Breit to close out this year’s MHF Celebrity Pro-Am at the Awards Dinner on Monday evening. Matoma’s latest release, “Bruised Not Broken”, features MNEK and Kiana Lede can be streamed through Spotify HERE
Last year’s pro-am raised over $1.6 million for the Morgan Hoffmann Foundation. The two-day event will feature highly notable guests from the world of sports and entertainment, all coming together for a common goal: to raise awareness for Muscular Dystrophy.
Funds raised from the event will go back to the Foundation to support its efforts in finding a cure for the disease and creating programs to empower those fighting chronic diseases. The Foundation remains committed to supporting the advancements of mental and physical wellness and is also determined to provide support to the lives affected.
