The Morgan Hoffmann Foundation Hosts Successful Charity Event at the 2018 Palm Beach International Boat Show
The Morgan Hoffmann Foundation proudly hosted their first charity event in aid of muscular dystrophy at the 2018 Palm Beach International Boat Show. The event saw over 150 guests consisting of community leaders, friends, and fellow players come together for a special evening to raise funds and awareness for the foundation. A few of those in attendance to show their support included current and former PGA Tour names like Rickie Fowler, Bud Cauley, Jamie Lovemark, John Curran, Jordan Niebrugge and Brad Faxon and the Golf Channel’s Tim Rosaforte.
Our first charity event at the Palm Beach International Boat Show was the perfect way to kick off the beginning of many successful events to come, raising awareness and funds to find a cure for muscular dystrophy. Our special event benefitted from several supporters including official sponsors DAVOS, IYC, IGY Marinas, Berth One Palm Beach, Realtor Lindsay Strafuss, Yachts International Magazine, SSI Petroleum and Davos. Just a few of the several generous donations to the silent auction included; a personal short game lesson from former World #1 Luke Donald, a private flight to the Florida Keys & round of golf with Morgan Hoffmann, a private chef’s dinner for ten guests at the Bear’s Club, autographed memorabilia from Jack Nicklaus, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Morgan Hoffmann, and a stay at a luxury villa in the Grand Isle Resort in Exuma, Bahamas.
We are proud that our first charity event proved to be a success, raising more than $50,000! We want to give a special thank you to all those who contributed and attended to make it possible.
